Bob Dylan ‘s legendary 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue Tour will be profiled in the new documentary Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story By Martin Scorsese , which will be accompanied by a 14-CD box set entitled Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings . The Martin Scorsese-directed film comes to Netflix and select theaters on June 12, while the box set is due on June 7.

The Rolling Thunder Revue featured 57 concerts over two legs between October 30, 1975 and May 25, 1976. Dylan was joined on the tour by Joan Baez, Roger McGuinn and Ramblin’ Jack Elliott and many others. The Minnesota native picked Bob Neuwirth to assemble a backing band that wound up including Mick Ronson, T-Bone Burnett, Scarlet Rivera, David Mansfield, Steven Soles, Rob Stoner and Howie Wyeth.

Rolling Thunder Revue: The 1975 Live Recordings features 100+ previously unreleased tracks. Five complete shows are included, which have each been newly mixed. In addition, the box set contains three discs of rehearsals and a bonus disc of rarities. As for the documentary, the film is expected to feature an interview with Bob Dylan and others who participated in the famed jaunt.
