One of Dylan’s best (but if you are reading this you already know that) made even better on this Mobile Fidelity pressing. MFSL continues it’s run of Dylan reissues in full force. As happy as I was with the Sundazed Dylan reissues, they don’t come close to these. There is some serious vinyl put into this disk set. You pick it up & you feel like you picked up a small table. Highest sound fidelity on the music & dead quiet in between. When I first put my needle on the record I had to be sure I had in deed turned the power amplifier on, it was that quiet. Quite simple the best pressing of Desire available anywhere. Not cheap but worth every penny..

I just love this album so much. Emmylou Harris’ background vocals are absolutely beautiful, and this particular collection of songs are some of my favorites. Note the fine print though: this is a master recording, and the full size albums are to be played at 45 speed. If you’re a Dylan fan and do not own Desire, buy it now.
