Description
This set is the most informative, revelatory and entertaining document on Bob Dylan’s life between ’66 and ’78, a period notable for the emergence of A.J. Weberman. A retrospective DVD documentary mixes rare historic footage with review and criticism from experts, friends, and even the odd enemy….

This was one of the most intriguing times in Dylan’s life. The documentary explores the fantastic albums Dylan released throughout this period of recovery and exploration. I wish the documentary had more individuality behind the filmmaking, but it surpassed the previous documentary produced by the same group. I wish I would have seen those films before I dove into Scorsese’s “No Direction Home” because now each time I see a missed opportunity for a great transition in this documentary I feel disappointed. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend this to Dylan fans simply because of the interviews. There’s some fantastic interviews throughout, especially from author Clinton Heylin. He practically carries this film through his unique stories and insight into Dylan’s life.

Decent history of the partnership, but no licensing to use the actual music
